RAPP will take part in the 6th CENTAC Congress on Accessibility Technologies
On Thursday November 5, RAPP partner Miren Iturburu, Researcher at the Matia Gerontological Institute, will present the RAPP project and discuss about “how robots can help people with disabilities in daily activities”, on the occasion of the 6th National Congress CENTAC on Accessibility Technologies. This Congress is organized by the National Center for Technology Access (CENTAC) and will be held at the Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao, Spain, on November 5 and 6.
The 6th National Congress CENTAC offers a unique opportunity to meet the most innovative technology trends, discover the actors involved in the development of accessible technologies in Spain, know more about the products on the market, and meet professionals. The audience will be mainly composed of professionals, ICT companies, representatives of the government, university professors, students completing technical careers, associations and social agents serving the needs arising from disabilities of all kinds.
The Congress will focus on several areas such as health, transport and tourism administrations and public services, employment, trade and digital banking. Furthermore, it will focus on the major technological trends of the coming years: Internet of Things, wearables, Big Data, 3D printing in the social field, robotics, smart devices, user interface / user experience, audiovisual and interactive environment.
