RAPP showcased NAO during the Researchers’ Night 2015
This year again, RAPP partner CERTH organized, the Researchers’ Night 2015, last Friday September 25, in Thessaloniki, with the support of the European Commission. On this occasion, CERTH/ITI, AUTH and ORMYLIA presented the RAPP project by showcasing the project’s two NAO robots’ capabilities to the public.
For the last 10 years, the researcher’s Night aimed to promote research in Europe. Organized on the last Friday of September, this event held in 300 European cities brings together about 1,500,000 people each year. The events offer a wide variety of fun-learning activities, from behind-the-scenes guided tours of research labs that are normally closed to the public, through interactive science shows, to hands-on experiments or workshops. An interactive map allows you to discover the events organized in Europe.
In Thessaloniki, visitors had the opportunity to discover numerous technological advances presented in an interactive and understandable way by researchers, through scientific experiments, artistic events, debates and research games for all ages.
