RAPP project researchers Fotis E. Psomopoulos and Manos Tsardoulias have been interviewed for the Greek channel “SKAI” to present the RAPP project and the NAO robot in the premisses of the Center for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) in Thessaloniki.

During the interview, the researchers talked about the objectives of RAPP: a project about the social inclusion of the elderly and the improvement of their quality of life, and presented the demonstrations they are performing with the NAO robot: a “In-house Hazard Detection” scenario that will allow NAO to detect hazards within a house, like a window open or a switched on oven, and a “Passing Information group of functions” scenario that will allow NAO to provide useful information, such as reminders for their medication routine, important dates and events, to keep in touch with their family and to keep company to people with motor function disabilities.
